Cancun is blessed with the incredible powdery white sand beaches which seem to be exclusive to the Caribbean sea. The combination of the warm crystal clear water and the soft warm sand make for near perfect conditions. The most popular beaches seem to be anywhere along the Hotel Zone, which runs the entire length of Cancun Island. There are many other beaches near Cancun that are worthy of a day trip.

| I am going to Cancun Oct 2-9 for my honeymoon and I don't know which hotel to book. I wanted to know if any one has stayed at more than one of the following hotels and can actually compare any of them. Omni Hotel, Temptation Resort/spa, RIU Cancun, RIU Palace, RIU Caribe and GR Solaris. Please let me know if you had bad experiences at any of these hotels. I am wanting to do a little of everything when I am there (relaxing, sight seeing/tours, snorkeling, going to nightclubs etc.) I would like some recommendations on that kind of stuff too. thanks! | I've seen on the US Embassy website that Mexico is along with Iraq and all those other crazy countries on the list of not to visit. But I've been to Cancun and Acapulco before, and while Acapulco was a little shady (friends were buying coke tho), they both were very fun and safe. Is Cancun dangerous or are those warnings moreso for the rest of Mexico? I'd imagine that Mexico needs to protect Cancun or it's tourism will be destroyed. | ||||

| My Mom's best friend, is going to mexico, with her youngest daughter. She a close friend of mine. My Mom's friend called my mom, to see if we wanted to go. My Mom said maybe, and we have to decide by saturday. It is $1000 per person, witch is a good deal, because i pays for food, the hotel, and flight for a week. My Mom said that we could just send me. She thinks i deserve it because my two younger sisters have got to do gymnastics and basketball. So she has spent over $1000 on my sisters this year. She does not want to go, but i don't thing i should go with out her. She also is going to spend lots of money on back to school clothing. I really do want my mom to go and to go with me but i don't know if i should go my parents are separated and she is still looking for places to live and needs a new car i don't know what to do and when i say that my sister got to do stuff it doest matter really its just what my mom said i really cant decide what to do HELP!!! | I'm going to mexico in February and i'm wondering if they will serve me alcohol. I'm 16 years old, 6'1 170 lbs so I think I can pass as an 18 year old. I'm going to an all-inclusive hotel with a group of 10 people, the hotel were staying at uses bracelets to determine your age, so if I'm wondering if I go up to the bar and ask for a corona without showing my wristband will they give me one or ask to see my bracelet? | ||||
