"Wonderful hotel helped us survive Wilma!"
We survived Hurricane Wilma with the help of the staff at the Fiesta Americana Condessa. After playing in the sun and doing the normal tourist things for 5 days we had recieved a note from the hotel staff informing us about the evacuation. Feeling confident with the staff we started our 4 day adventure traveling to their evacuation location. They provided a safe environment, food and leadership. Besides having water everywhere our shelter survived the hurricane and all the visitors. I do believe that we were one of the first groups to leave Cancun by bus on Sunday evening to arrive in Medida. We are glad to be home safe and will go back to Cancun and recommend the Fiesta Americana Condessa to all of our friends and family.

"Staff was Extremely helpful & selfless during the hurricane"
Me and my friends stayed at the Condesa right before Hurricane Wilma hit Cancun. The hotel staff immediately evacuated us to a shelter and they stayed with us there the entire time. They were completely selfless and they should be commended for their excellent service. The chief concierge kept everything organized and made sure everyone was comfortable (as comfortable as you can be during a hurricane). Other hotel staff stayed with us at the shelter to feed us, clean up the bathrooms, and attempted to keep our rooms dry. If it wasn't for all of them, I don't know we would have done. The Condesa staff truly got us through the hurricane. We plan on going back to the Condesa after it has recovered from the hurricane!

"Fiesta employees awesome"
We got back from Cancun on Tuesday night. We were in hurricane Wilma. The hotel evacuated us to a small University in the town of Cancun and cared for us until we left. They made sure we were safe. The employees volunteered their help, and some stayed up all night to sweep wet hallways, help us to the bathrooms, and watchover us. They risked their lives for ours. I can't say enough for the professional way they handled the situation.

"Their beds are very hard!!!"
Listen to the reviewers who note that the FACC beds are not comfortable! The mattresses are quite old and have almost no padding. As other reviewers have noted, the hotel has many great features (esp. the pool), but they do not make up for a night of tossing and turning.

"Amazing Hotel"
This hotel is amazing.The rooms are really big with nice decor and marble bathrooms.Staff were very nice and helpful.Location is fantastic- it is on the best strip of beach in Cancun, so clean and the water is gorgeous. The pools were the best feature of the hotel- everyday they had staff cleaning them- they were sotless.The swimup bar is also pretty cool.

Buses leave every minute from just outside the hotel and you can go to all the malls and restaurants for less than a dollar!!

I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone, it truly provides a fantastic experience.
